Basketball-HS Girls, Jr. High Girls Basketball


I graduated from Sebastopol Attendance Center in 2004. I received an Associates Degree from East Central Community College in Liberal Arts in 2006. In addition, I graduated from Mississippi State University- Meridian Branch with a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education in 2008. At this time I am currently working on my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Arkansas State University.


I have been teaching in the Scott County School District since the 2008-2009 school year. Initially, I taught 7th and 8th grade Science at Lake Middle School and was an assistant coach with Slow and Fast-Pitch Softball. In 2009-2010 I continued teaching 8th grade Science and coached Jr. High Boys Basketball. The following year of 2010-2011, I taught 8th grade Science, coached Jr. High Boys and Girls Basketball, and assisted with High School Boys and Girls Basketball teams. In 2011-2012, I moved to Lake High School and taught United States History as well as 8th grade Science. The following year of 2012-2013, I taught United States History and 10th Grade World History. In 2013-2014, I was the head boys basketball coach at Lake High School. In the summer of 2014, I had the opportunity to come home to Sebastopol Attendance Center to teach 7th and 8th grade Mathematics. I also had the opportunity to assist coach Greg McGarrity with the Jr. High and High School boys basketball. This year I will still teach 7th and 8th grade Mathematics and will be the head coach of the Jr. High and High School Lady Bobcats basketball teams. I will also assist with the Jr. High and High school boys basketball teams. Coach McGarrity will be my assistant with the girls.
